The electrical plugs in Italy are different than the US & UK, remember to bring converters
Hairdryers, specifically US, are a different voltage and very well may blow a fuse in your hotel (Molly learned this the hard way), so we'd recommend either buying one with an Italian plug, or ensuring your hotel has what you may need.
